June In Annagloor

The great gift of memory is a wonderful thing
Today in Annagloor the wild birds chirp and sing
And June has arrived with her beautiful flowers
That bloom in the old fields in the Summer showers
The buzzings of the nectar gathering wild honeybees
And the cattle at rest chewing their cuds in the shade of the trees
And the grey wagtail sings near where Cails waters flow
By their chirping or song birds one does come to know
I grew to love Nature in fields far away
A love that is mine for to enjoy today
And my walks in Nature today I do enjoy
As much as I did in far fields as a boy
When brown lark was carolling a musical speck in the sky
and above Annagloor the dark swallows did fly.

  1. Mr Duggan...my name is Ana Victoria. I was born in Argentina but since 2008 I am living in a beautiful place, in a very small cottage, beside a lovely river...the whole place is green, full of trees and birds...cattle and lambs in the fields and from my window I can see Clara mountain with its mist and clouds...
I live in Annagloor...I am the wife of Dan Mulcahy (eldest son of Katleen and Thomas Mulcahy)and I am a good friend of your brother Nilly...He came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. We had a cup of tea and cake in the garden.
    He always talks about you...
I am very happy I have found you...
Receive our regards and I hope you are keeping well...Will keep in touch.
