In The Town By The Sea

The good memories till death will be living in me
Of the beautiful town overlooking the sea
The sound of the waves splashing on the rocks of the shore
A sound that's destined to live forever more
Where mine years ago did become a known face
In the town by the sea such a beautiful place
The coastal people for their warmth are well known
They certainly do have a charm of their own
As hospitable as one could wish to meet anywhere
In the town by the sea one does feel at home there
Flying above the tide line piping melodious and clear
The pied oystercatchers i fancy i hear
And the silver gulls mew above the cliffs as they fly
As the sun it does set in the west of the sky.
