Quite A Warm Day

That i am not a good rhymer i have little doubt
But so much material for to write rhymes about
In the quiet countryside by the old country town
The birds chirp and sing as the sun is going down
A cool refreshing breeze blowing uphill from the bay
At the twilight of what has been a very warm day
The dry and brown countryside is in need of some rain
But Nature pays us no heed when of her we complain
The country fire authority members are trying their best
To contain a bifg fire burning towards the west
Today a weather temperature high of near forty degrees
But there is a certain coolness in the evening breeze
That blows up the hill from the saltwater bay
And make cooler the air of what has been quite a warm day.
