The Summer and Autumn and Winter and Spring
The flora and fauna she sees every day
With words she is one who does have a way
She writes of Natures sights and sounds every day she does hear and see
The warbling song of a magpie on a sunlit gum tree
The familiar calls of the magpie larks known to some as pee wee
A person of rare talent as most of those who have read her poetry can only agree
A widowed grandmother in her late seventies with wavy hair of silver gray
Poet Jill she is ageing in a graceful way
She does have her own claim to literary renown
As by far the most popular poet in the town
With words she is one who does have a way
And she adds to her numbers of poems every day
