Long After I Am Forgotten

When all memories of me have faded away
In Summer on a warm and sunny day
White butterflies will fly around the bushes and trees
And seemingly dance in the sky in the mild coastal breeze
And the bird that does sing every day of the year
The flute of the magpie will be pleasant to hear
And the familiar pee wee of the pied magpie lark
In the quiet of the dawn will be heard in the park
And her Seasons to Nature they will come and go
And of all life forms time as usual the foe
This is how it is and it always will be
The same for the celebrity as for you and me
And long after i am forgotten and to nothingness gone
Life in the World as usual will go on.
