You Are What You Are

You are what you are that is all you can be
And of your inhibitions you will never be free
A flawless person is one I have not known
Though the person we really are some of us wish to disown
You are what you are that's how it seems to me
Though many with what I say may not agree
An extroverted person not known to be shy
And a shy person cannot be extroverted though hard she or he may try
One can only be happy in one's own comfort zone
Like it is said one cannot draw blood from a stone
The personality we are born with will be ours till we die
This is a fact of life and facts never lie
Yes you are what you are that is all you can be
And of your inhibitions you will never be free.
