To Write Rhyme Is Easy

Though my worth as a rhymer i have reason to doubt
No shortage of things for me to write about
To write rhyme is easy as easy as can be
Anybody can do it you can have that from me
But to write good rhyme is not easy and good rhymers are few
You might say to that tell us something that's new
A good rhymer does deserve the title of poet
And is one who is worthy of literary note
For many years i have been a rhyming buff
And i am one who has written a whole heap of stuff
To my total i keep adding rhymes every day
But my worth as a rhymer is not for me to say
I am always happy when i'm penning rhyme
and i never  do see it as a waste of time.
