Everyone Is A Good Winner

Everyone is a good winner but good losers are few
In this i am not saying anything that is new
The one who can smile in the face of defeat
Is the one who in spirit refuses to be beat
The winner may shed tears of joy in victory
That this is not a test of his or her character is how it seems to be
But the one who does have a happy smiling face
Though she or he did not finish in first place
One might say is a unique and good person indeed
And of more of this sort the Human World is in need
With the onlookers shouting hooray and well done
It is easy to smile and laugh when you have won
But the one who does smile in the face of defeat
