Of Aging Macho Heroes

Of aging macho heroes many stories are told
But it is not a nice feeling to be getting old
You may wear a hairpiece or use hair dye to hide your gray
And you may use anti aging creams to hide time's decay
And though than your age you may look younger by many a day
Your sagging aging body dyes and creams does betray
As a physical being my better days are long gone
And only the fear of death makes me want to live on
Of sexual appeal most aging men are bereft
Our egos it does seem are all we have left
Time does strip from everyone youthful elan
In a decade from now i will be an old man
My better days physically are in the past
But youth as is said is a thing that does not last.
