Behind The Gray Clouds

Behind the gray clouds the sun hidden away
It is threatening rain in the Moyne Shire today
Though the Wintry weather not cold it is breezy and cool
In the coastal countryside between Koroit and Warrnambool
The flute like warbling is so pleasant to hear
Of the birds who do sing every day of the year
The white backed silver billed magpies with the beautiful song
Once seen and once heard birds you cannot get wrong
And none could mistake the call of the pee wee
Dainty black and white mud nesting birds one often hear and see
Nature's wonders are many and her secrets not few
And every day of her we learn something new
In the lush green paddocks the contented cattle chewing their cuds do lay
Earthly Utopia from this place cannot be far away.
