Pride it is another word for conceit
And every day proud people i happen for to meet
Proud of their children and proud of their wives
And so very proud of their marvelous lives
Proud of their job promotion and raise in pay
These sort of people one does meet every day
Self absorbed and egotistical of them one can say
Their sort to meet i would never go out of my way
Those with over inflated egos are not of the few
Of this i am not saying anything that is new
Self promotion nowadays does seem the in thing
So many their own praises only too willing to sing
Pride it is another word for conceit
