The Car Rallying And Racing Fans

The car rallying and racing fans are a breed of their own
For their passion for fast cars they are widely known
Quite different to the fans of the different codes of football
Suppose each to their own does apply to us all

The car rallying and racing fans are quite tribal indeed
Their common bond is they are lovers of speed
The champion car drivers they greatly admire
To be champion car drivers themselves they dream of and desire

They meet for a drink and to talk of cars at the local pub
And most of them are members of a car club
Not environmentally friendly people of them one can say
That racing cars cause lots of pollution with them seems okay

Suppose in their own ways to themselves they are true
And one has to say that this is to their due
In their passion for cars different to one like me
But each to their own is how it should be

The car rallying and racing fan does not dream of being the first man on Mars
He just wishes to be a champuion driver of fast cars
Though everyone his love of fast cars does not share
Those without some passion in life are quite rare.
