Home Is Where

For everyone there is a place to call home
For the Londoner London for the Roman Rome
To some home is distant from where they first saw light of day
Many thousands of kilometres away
Even the nomadic  refer to their homeplace
Where today their's would be a stranger's face
Though they cannot settle down anywhere
Long distance travellers of the big World out there
Even the homeless their sense of home is strong
In the poor suburb  they feel they belong
Though in life they cannot hope for to win
Where they do not have a home to live in
Everyone some sense of home does retain
And home is where the heart is as a truism remain.
