He speaks with an accent though his english not hard to understand
Marko from Croatia one who loves his homeland
With Ema his beautiful dark haired Croatian wife
And their primary schoolgoing son and daughter his treasures in life
His dark hair greying in his mid thirties Marko a steel fixer by trade
He works hard for every dollar that he is paid
He says when their children are self reliant he and Ema will go home to grow old
For to say love of Country is not real one would have to be bold
Though tall and quite muscular and physically strong
Marko to anyone would never do wrong
Not the type of person who likes to have his say
Quietly spoken Marko humble in his way
Not one to spend too much time in the pub
At the weekends he plays for his local soccer club
All of Croatia's star footballers he knows by name
Soccer will always be his favorite game
Marko a fellow who does not have a foe
Came to live in Warrnambool with his young wife Ema thirteen years ago
But in Croatia they will live their last night and day
Home is where the heart is as the wise one does say.
