Rhymers
Eventually we all do run out of time
But only in death the rhymers run out of rhyme
With little recognition or without any fame or pay
The rhymers with rhyming words do love to play
Most literary critics claim a rhymer is a non poet
And not in any way worthy of any literary note
But true rhymers feel no desire for wealth or literary fame
And few of them ever become a well known name
Though no shortage of them in any village or city or town
Most rhymers are strangers to literary renown
Though some of them locally become well known
They do not have fan clubs to claim for their own
Rhymers write rhymes for the love of it little else more
Though the literary critics them do ignore.
