To be nice to their parliamentary opposition it is not their way
And since their opinions on their opponents are biased more often than not it does seem
It is not surprising that politicians by many are not held in high esteem
To a politician's criticism of a political opponent one should not pay any heed
Their sort of criticism to seek political advantage seems rather negative indeed
Politicians are criticizing each other every day
These are just part of the mind games with each other they do play
Most politicians are lacking in ruth
And they seek political advantage in bending the truth
Politicians in their words are known to deceive
And what they say of theior political opponents one ought not believe
To be nice to your political opponents in politics does not pay
And it is so hard to believe anything a politician of their political opponents does say.
