To your higher self you are not being true
They are never among the admired of the town
Those who in their words enjoy putting others down
Live and let live as a truism remain
The meaning in this it's own self does explain
The people you bad mouth no lesser than you
What you do to them to your own self you do
Wisdom to it does not have an age
A young person can have the mind of a sage
Not every old person is knowledgeable and wise
This is something that many of come to realize
The lessons of life are not of the few
And every day we live we learn something new.
