The gift of imagination it is such an amazing thing
You can imagine that you are a bird on the wing
As over the tree tops and building you do fly
A swallow chasing flying insects in the sky
All you have to do is go within your mind
And this thing known as imagination in there you will find
The gift to be anything that you wish to be
The gift of imaginative thought to all of us is free
To create works of beauty the artist and writer of it are in need
The gift of imagination is a great gift indeed
