Due to human destruction of their natural habitat as well as Climate Change
Animals and birds become rarer that once were plentiful in their range
Even in wealthy democratic Nations anti environment governments rule
By voting them to govern the voters to the fire of extinction add the fuel
For the greed of humans for Earth resources there will be a price to pay
For many species of life forms extinction may not be far away
Future generations of people may not hear a bird sing
In time we may not be that far from the first silent Spring
Mother Earth the one who feeds us we abuse every day
And this to even think of is rather sad to say
What we do to Mother Earth is to all of our shame
The future generations of people will have us to blame
For the damaged Earth they inherited from us and where many of malnutrition do die young
One can feel sure our praises by them will never be sung.
