I can only admire the people who know when enough is enough
Who believe that on a livable income that they are not doing it tough
Happy with their lot they never complain
And a positive attitude to life they retain
They never yearn for celebrity renown
Or be among the wealthy of the town
Never impress on others of how marvellous they are
And are happy to drive in their second hand car
Great wealth and fame they never desire
They are not the sort of people not hard to admire
Many people becoming more self centered one does seem aware
The happy with their lot are becoming rare
They are not afflicted by the demon greed
Of more of their sort humanity is in need.
