Those who will tell you that you will not find brains in a crow
Of Nature and her ways so little do know
Of glossy black feathers not the prettiest by sight
But corvids are clever and mentally bright
Of most other creatures crows in problem solving ahead
On the verges of Warrnambool lake i have seen them dip hard crusted bread
To soften to eat an amazing sight indeed
Of corvid intelligence what more proof does one need
Where other species of birds struggle to survive
In the harshest of environments corvids seem to thrive
Among Nature's finest songsters they will never be known
But they are very clever with ways of their own
Birds of village, town and city and the countryside
Different species of them known to exist Worldwide.
