The Koroit Trucks

All day and all night the trucks pass up and down
Between Geelong and Warrnambool through Koroit Town
It is business as usual by night and by day
Out there on the Warrnambool-Penshurst roadway

Whilst the residents of Koroit in their beds do sleep
Milk and oil tankers and truck loads of cattle and sheep
On Commercial Road buzz on through the night
In Koroit big passing trucks a common sight

Koroit in Victoria is known far and wide
As an old Irish Town in the green countryside
Whilst the residents sleep the big trucks are  out
It is  business as usual that goes without doubt

Long after the shops have closed the trucks pass up and down
In the dead of the night through old Koroit Town
Oil and milk tankers and truck loads of cattle and sheep
Whilst the local residents in their beds do sleep.
