The power to do good it is in you within
You can make the World better to live in
By being kind to others you are only as good as the good for others that you do
There is more to living of life than living for the me or the you
You like to tell others of how marvellous you are
Of how on the social ladder you have climbed far
But you never perform a good deed of the day
And that self praise is no praise only true to say
By all means take good care of yourself and your family and all of those to you near and dear
But that there is far more to living of life than this is obviously clear
Respect others and be kind to them as you are to yourself and to your own
And then as a good and an honourable person you deserve to be known
It is not the good you do for yourself but the good for others you do
That says more of the person you are than anything else can say of you.
