We live in the now and the future ahead
And only memories of what was in us is not dead
And wherever we travel to our past with us go
Until time that ages everyone becomes our foe
Our future is unknown to us as most would agree
And we only have memories of the what used to be
Three score years and ten the average human lifetime span
And a few years more for a woman than it is for a man
A fact of our existence and fact never lie
Is us humans are born as mortals and all mortals do die
At the stroke of nidnight the past will be today
And that we can only live in the now only true for to say
Each day of our existence one nearer to our last
And time on our lives ever keeps ticking fast.
