Behind A False Facade

Behind a false facade some does well to hide
From others they can cloak their badly flawed side
One can say of them they know how to deceive
And by false pretences huge sums of money receive
Some people not that hard to deceive at all
To the charm of wily crooks they does readily fall
Which does come to them at a huge financial cost
To the bogus schemes of criminals their lifetime savings are lost
Some who receive money by deception spend many years in jail
But to prove a case on some of them the law sometimes does fail
And though the law may not bring them to book karma will one day
For our sins against others always some price to pay
Behind their false facade they hide their real selves away
They are badly flawed people of them one can say.
