Have You Ever Been At A Party

Have you ever been at a party where you felt out of place
Though some of the people there you knew by face
They socialized in their own small groups with their own pet subjects to talk about
And you the outsider felt the odd one out
You are not the only one that this has happened to
In every party that has ever been there are outsiders like you
Though to fit in you are one who does try
In a group situation you are a bit shy
To be a bit different to others is never a sin
You are not the only one who at parties cannot seem to fit in
Not everyone is extroverted though some people are naturally this way
And not everyone happy at parties does only seem true for to say
You have been to a few parties where some you did  know there by face
But with them you shared nothing in common and among them you felt out of place.
