Of the praise and the glory the winner takes almost all
And of losers so few ever wish to recall
In life there are winners and losers every day
For one to win others lose life works in this way
Yes in all things in life it is always the same
In losing never any riches or fame
And though losing is a thing anyone does not choose
For every winner many does have to lose
This is how it is and how it always will be
All is never equal in life or humanity
She or he a brave person who can lose with grace
Who despite disappointment have a smile on their face
For such people there will be another day
And they too are worthy of a loud hooray.
