I may be a mere mortal who breathes the free air
But i yearn for the strength for to treat all others fair
To not discriminate against anyone in any sort of a way
In me plenty room for improvement in truth i can say
People due to their race or color or nationality every day being put down
Worldwide in every village and city and town
People even today for their sexual preferences are seen for to fail
And are ostracized from society and condemned to life in jail
Sadly we do not live in a World of a fair go for all
Far too many people in their thinking seem small
For a better World for all people for to live in
Only starts with ourselves the power to do good can only come from within
And though i may only be a mere mortal who breathes the free air
I yearn for the strength to treat all others fair.
