Most people have their dreams in life to pursue
And life is what you make of it to some is only true
Due to hardship in childhood and due to birth circumstance
Some of any success in life stand little chance
Their drug dealing parents serving time in jail
By their circumstance of birth they are condemned to fail
They follow in parental footsteps and turn to crime
The most of them in jails will spend their lives prime
Young people from their suburb employers never employ
A successful life they cannot hope to enjoy
Failure is the normal on their side of the town
Where most only know of how it feels like to be financially down
Some may tell you that you receive from life what is only your due
But not many ever do see their dreams in life come true.
