For Many People

In life every day for many people some new challenge for to face
For the poor and god forsaken it is hard to live with grace
In a World where ninety per cent of the wealth is owned by the few
This is something that is well know and not anything that is new
There are far too many people in the World of today
Who are homeless and quite hungry and  living in the toughest way
Many of them will not live to thirty though young they look frail and old
Forgotten even in life and their stories never to be told
Not a long walk from where the wealthy live people in extreme poverty
In this World us humans live in there is so much inequality
For those without homes to live in life's a battle every day
In a fair Human World to live in it would never be this way
Whilst the privileged have more than enough it does not seem at all right
That in the poor side of the city many are sleeping rough tonight.
