Many years ago in Millstreet Town far away
We watched the parade on St Patrick's Day
When we were younger a long time ago
Long become time it did become our foe
Good memories of happy times in life never fade
The Millstreet Pipe Band always led the parade
As doubtless they do in Millstreet Town today
As they were some things do tend for to stay
Sometimes St Patrick's Day brought wind and rain
But people of this never seemed to complain
Though dry weather people of course would prefer
From watching the parade wind and rain them did not deter
Local businesses and sporting and social clubs on trucks and floats put on a display
Behind the Pipers Band on St Patrick's Day.
