How come wherever people do meet
For attention with each other many compete
The humble overlooked it is always this way
The look at me syndrome alive and well today
Though without the egotistical there would not be a show
Since many World renowned entertainers are egotistical this much of them we know
They would surely not be known and have fans Worldwide
If due to humility the talents they were born with they kept ahide
Love of self it has become such an egotistical thing
So many in the World of today their own praises does sing
Suppose in them for recognition there is this great need
Though at becoming wealthy and famous only few do succeed
In the early twenty first century self promotion is the in thing
Their own praises so many all too willing to sing.
