Though he has many friends of enemies he has a few
In life you win some and lose some is not saying anything new
Though he is one without children a partner or a wife
In Koroit Town he has lived all of his life
To many Koroitians his is a well known face
One born to live grow old and die in his home place
He sometimes has a drink with his mates at the Commercial or Mickey Bourke's pub
And he barracks for the Koroit cricket and football club
In his younger years he never daydreamed of living in places far away
For as long as he lives in Koroit he hopes to stay
There are a few like him in every town
Who like him due to love of place enjoy local renown.
