Of Us

For some of us there will not be a tomorrow and for all of us there will be a final day
On all of our lives the clocks are ever ticking that time does not wait seems only true to say
Though some people who thought they were irreplaceable where the deceased are does forever lay
But life in the World does go on as usual And time as ever ticks and ticks away
Celebrities die and life as usual goes on though many at their passing are in tears
Many ageing people like to reminisce on them for what was but in memory can only live in their younger years
Like all other life forms we are born into life as mortals and eventually our turn will come to die
Death is a fact for all air breathing creatures and as is said of fact it never lie
It is true to say that death is the equalizer though of it's praises i have yet to hear one sing
At least it does treat everyone as equal and this in itself is only a good thing
Those we thought were irreplaceable were not that important though they enjoyed their success, wealth and fame
Many may have felt great sorrow at their passing but life goes on without them just the same
