For Young Women And Men

It is a World for young women and men
As it is now it was also back when
I was much younger this is going back in time
Back to the days when i was in my physical prime

Some things as ever does not change in life
Ageism back then as it is today was rife
By many young people the ageing were seen as of the past
Youth has it's beauty but youth does not last

Youth in full bloom is lovely to behold
But many young people think they will never grow old
For one reason or other they fail to realize
That one day they too will look old in others eyes

Young people dream of their great days ahead
Whilst life's dreams in the ageing are all but dead
Every day one nearer to our life's final day
Time on us all does have the final say

It is a World for young women and men
As it is now it was also back when
I was a young man many years ago
Long before time it did become my foe.
