Somebodies

Those who think they are somebodies become bodies one day
For there are no somebodies where bodies lay
And a body without life can never become a somebody again
That we all eventually become bodies as a fact remain

Those who think they are special does fail to realize
That they themselves are quite ordinary in some others eyes
Your own conclusion from this you can draw
But to feel superior to others is a bad human flaw

A nobody to a somebody is an ex dunce of her or his school
One of low intelligence a dim witted fool
One unsuccessful in life devoid even of local fame
Without an honour as such for to show to their name

For to meet a somebody you need not drive in your car
From where you live a few of them in distance not far
You need not walk further than your local public bar
To meet a few who believe they are far greater and cleverer than they really are

Of more somebodies the Human World is not in need
Too many of their sort far too many indeed
That they are not as enlightened as they think they are the point they does miss
But then one must suppose that ignorance can be bliss.
