Birds In Their Billions

Some birds by sight i can recognize
But having said this i also realize
That of birds and their ways so little i can claim of to know
Though my wonderment of them only does grow and grow
Birds in their billions in Countries Worldwide
In all sorts of habitats are known to reside
In every sort of a landscape birds you will see
Some are migratory and some have a lifetime territory
Even in the coldest and and warmest climates where humans are rare birds in large numbers abound
The most inhospitable of places to some bird species is their home ground
Some birds one does get to know them by their chirping or song
And once familiarized with never again get them wrong
On land, oceans and waterways town and countryside
And in the most inhospitable of places birds live Worldwide.
