And not for the billionaires and their daughter and son
Or not for the elite sports people of the town
Feeling superior in the glow of their public renown
It is us impressionable humans that flawed heroines and heroes create
A true god between people would not differentiate
Those we place on a pedestal death does equalize
And that the admired are mere mortals we come to realize
A true god would treat everyone as the same
And would not treat as special those of wealth and fame
In the eyes of a true god everyone would be great
It is impressionable humans class distinction create
If there is a god that god is for everyone
And not alone for the billionaires and their daughter and son.
