Of his mother who was mean to him and his dad who loved her as his wife
Where the deceased are at peace she now does lay
One of those who is beyond all of life's cares today
His mother like all of the deceased herself cannot defend
Though a mother is supposed to be our greatest friend
But even a bad mother in life gave us a start
In your very existence she played a huge part
To hear people ageing complaining of how they were treated bad
In their younger years by their mum or their dad
For them to say the least i do feel a bit sad
When i hear them tell of the tough times they have had
His mum whom he says was mean to him is now at peace
From life's cares for all of us a final release
By what he says she gave him and his dad who loved her as his wife
Some tough times though she did give him his gift of life
