Most people like sheep need a leader to follow
As admirers of arrogant people many are known
The people who do not have minds of their own
A new leader rises when another slides down
There are more followers than leaders in every village and city and town
So many looked on as leaders not even close to wise
That many look up to narcissists should not seem a surprise
In this twenty first century when humility seems dead
That the humble person does lose out in truth can be said
Among leaders of all sorts any humble person you will not find
Those chosen to lead are of the narcissistic kind
Like sheep many people follow the leader it does seem this way
As it was it is and this is how it will stay.
