Our Greatest Teacher

That we never stop learning is only true to say

And for us Nature does have a new lesson every day

And the more we learn of Nature the more we come to realize

That of her we do know little is this any surprise

That of Nature we have much to learn there can be little doubt

Of her flora and her fauna much remain unknown about

Those with minds open to knowledge are learning every day

And than Nature no greater teacher in truth one has to say

On the last day we spent in school our learning did not end

From life we never does stop learning why otherwise pretend

Those who love flora and fauna loves the Earth that feeds us too

And every day from Nature a lesson for me and you

Nature Mother Earth's goddess a friend of humanity

That she is our greatest teacher is how it seems to be

Her lessons are many and her secrets not few

And from her every day we do learn something new.
