There is room for self improvement in us all
Any act of kindness to another is never too small
It is not of more self centred people no not indeed
That humanity in the World of today is in need
There are many good people in every town
Who every day help the financially down
And though of their greatness not one shadow of doubt
These are the people we seldom hear of or read about
Those who only think of the self and live for the me
In truth are not an asset to humanity
The gap keeps on widening in the material divide
And millions of people hungry and homeless Worldwide
For the kind and compassionate let us hear the hooray
For them there ought to be ' a those who help others day'
