He loves his children and he loves his wife
The ordinary man leads an ordinary life
Never in the pub with a community tribe drinking beer and laughing loud
Though ordinary not one of the ordinary crowd
The ordinary man does not talk about money or politics or football
And those who know of him say he is not normal at all
To any community organization he never subscribe
He lives as condemned for not being part of a tribe
On the community honour or shame he never will bring
The ordinary man he does his own thing
And though to live an honourable life he does try his best
Most in the community tribes with him and his sort not impressed
The ordinary man is not anyone's judge
And others of their successes does never begrudge
Of any ties to a tribe he is one who is free
And he is not a leader or never wishes to be
But those in need of a friend a friend in him does find
For the ordinary man is extraordinary kind
And though looked on as strange to many on his side of the town
He never does ignore the financially down.
