Though I did work on pipeline crews in and near Ballarat
And east of Melbourne above electricity powerlines in works of danger of varying degrees
On high towers with chain saws I trimmed back from the line tall trees
By the mountains in north and west Cork I logged trees where the work was not matched by pay
Worked on farms and as a teenager spend a few years in the U S of A
In New York City working in buildings and in truth I can say
That nothing in life easy has come my way
My greatest achievements in life does seem small
In fact I have nothing to brag of at all
But what you achieve in life does it matter in the end
If to anyone you have never been a good friend
If on your life's journey you have helped people of your help in need
Then you are one who is living a good life indeed.
