Of late he is one who is not feeling well
His memory not what it was in days of old
And sadly it does seem his last story he has told
He was a big favourite of many a young girl and boy
And listening to his stories they used to enjoy
But Alzheimer's his thought processes have destroyed
And all of his memories in his mind have died
The thing that kills memory has ruined his life
He does not even recognize his family and wife
In a locked home for Alzheimer sufferers the fifty five year old granddad
Seems older than his age and he looks rather sad
Nowadays the famed storyteller who was so knowledgeable and wise
When his wife comes to visit him her he does not recognize.
