People compete for success every day
But different people look at success in many a different way
Though the praises of money and material possesions many may sing
And to young aspirational people this is now an in thing
But some with their views on success do not agree
People who look at life in ways differently
Though on the ladder of success you may not have climbed far
Some see you as successful for the person you are
For your generosity and kindness and compassion some see you as a success
Such traits that amount to love of others the generosity inclined does impress
The wealthy and famous those on the right side of the social divide
Are never short of admirers there are millions of them Worldwide
But the wealthy and celebrated some people fail to impress
There are many with different ideas on success.
