It Is The Literary Critics

Why ask me who is or who is not a poet
Or who should be worthy of literary note
The literary critics for this receive a good pay
And on who is a good writer they do have their say
Who is or is not a good writer not for me to decide
Only know that not all good writers are  known Worldwide
Many good writers do not have a great literary name
And die without knowing of great wealth and fame
On saying that World famed writers in numbers are few
Is not saying anything that is in any way new
But who is a great writer to you may not be so to me
We all have our opinions is how it seems to be
But it is the literary critics who in their words promote
Writers to the status of novelist or playwright or poet.
