Claudia Mancini of her son Guiseppe feels proud
She says he is one who stands out from the crowd
A motor car accident had him in a wheelchair
But he is not one to say life is unfair
His doctor is stuck for words to explain
That Guiseppe is walking when he said he would never walk again
Though only in his early thirties he is visibly lame
And physically he will never again be quite the same
The woman Guiseppe was to marry did not become his wife
With a physically impaired man she would not spend her life
His father Giovanni ten years ago of cancer died
It does seem luck in life is not on Guiseppe's side
But his mother Claudia of him does feel so proud
She says he is one who stands out from the crowd.
