The Windbag

The braggart for ego may carry the flag
But few of his sort can live up to their brag
As is said empty vessels does make the most noise
There is far more substance in the one who has poise
A saying from the past that is relevant today
Actions speak louder than words as the wise one does say
Braggarts are not rare in any village, city and town
But when put to the test most of them leave themselves down
The quiet man is one who leaves his actions for him speak
When put to the test braggarts are often found to be weak
Their type in the World sad to say not in the few
 But this is not saying anything that is new
For ego he only does carry the flag
The one known to many as the windbag.
