I Do Feel Lucky In Life

I feel lucky in life in truth i can say
In the nice and caring people i meet every day
Far too many media stories of the narcissistic and of those into crime
It is sad to think that these are the headline makers of our time
So many kind and compssionate people i know or know of far too many to mention by name
Who help the less privileged of their communities yet remain strangers to fame
Every day in their acts of kindness they plant Karma's good seed
Of far more of their sort humanity is badly in need
Most of those that we hear of and read of every day
Are arrogant and self centred in their narcissistic way
Of stories of their sort i for one can do without
It is only of the kind and caring i wish to read of and hear about
And i do feel lucky in life in truth i can say
In the nice and caring people i do meet every day.
